The Department of Transportation (DOTr), in partnership with Oriental Consultants Global, officially launched the Mobilization and Inauguration of the Railway Projects (North South Commuter Railway (NSCR) and North South Commuter Railway -Extension (GCR) in 2018 at the Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas.
The event marked the formal commencement of project implementation activities, signifying the start of detailed engineering works and the mobilization of project teams. Key officials from DOTr, Oriental Consultants Global, and partner organizations attended the ceremony, emphasizing the project’s importance in improving the country’s railway infrastructure and public transport system.
